When to check or replace it

What Bambu Lab says

  • A1: replace the tube "every 6 rolls" of PLA and other filament without carbon fibre, and "every 2 rolls" of carbon fibre and other high friction filament. Replace it sooner if it shows "obvious signs of wear". (Bambu Lab A1 maintenance page, read 22 October 2026)
  • P1 series (P1S, P1P): check the tubes "after about 10 rolls" of regular filament and "after printing about 5 rolls of abrasive materials". Replace a tube "when clear signs of wear are shown on it". (Bambu Lab P1 series maintenance page, read 22 October 2026)

Bambu Lab counts rolls, not months, so we don't suggest a date. Pick the day you think you'll reach that point, based on how much you print.
